L.V Spare Parts
We offer comprehensive solutions for
manufacturing and processing industries as well as standard products and systems for
industrial applications, office and residential buildings and defence projects. Targeting
the electrical contracting & construction industries we offer high quality
distribution equipment from 0.5A to 3200A in harmony with this a building management
system. These help in providing both control and protection for residential and commercial
projects.
| Fuse Systems |
| Fuses are used in a wide range of
applications, extending from residential installations to installations in commercial
buildings and industrial installations to installations in power supply companies. |
| Siemens offers an appropriate range of covers
and phase barriers to provide these fuses with shock-hazard protection. |
| Miniature Circuit Breakers |
| MCBs primarily protect cables and conductors
against overload and short circuit. They also protect electrical equipment against
overheating.Further, due to the fixed rated current settings of MCBs, it is also possible
to protect motors in a limited form. |
 |

 |
Handle locking device effectively prevents
unauthorized operation |
| Residual Current Operated Circuit Breakers |
| Protection
against indirect contact (indirect personnel protection). Protection is provided by
disconnecting hazardous high touch voltages caused by a short circuit to exposed
conductive parts of equipment. |
 |
| When
using RCCBs with IDn 30 mA, protection from direct contact (direct
personnel protection) is also provided. Supplementary protection measure by disconnection
when normally live parts are touched. |
| While RCCBs for a rated fault current IDn > 30 mA provide protection
against indirect contact, by installing RCCBs with IDn £ 30 mA, a high level of additional
protection is achieved against unintentional direct contact with live parts. |
| The
usual contact description, such as 16 A cos j
=
1 or AC-1, is not sufficient when configuring lighting systems. Excessive inrush
currents result in contact welding, which means that the devices can no longer be switched
off. |
| For example, an extremely wide range of
contacts is used for the modular devices: |
 |
Contactor contacts with a contact opening
>3 mm, as for contactors |
 |
 |
Relay contacts with a contact opening
>3 mm, as for the remote switches |
 |
Manually operated contacts with a contact
opening >3 mm, like the |
|
disconnectors |
 |
Relay contacts with micro contacts
(>0.5 mm contact opening), for |
|
example which are used for PC boards in
electronic devices. |
| Electrical equipment for rooms used for medical
purposes, e.g. hospitals, doctors surgeries and also for home dialyses are subject
to special requirements. The health or the life of a patient can be endangered, even if an
extremely low current flows through the human body. This danger exists when electromedical
equipment is used to treat, examine or monitor the patient. |

|
| Therefore, electrical installations in rooms
used for medical purposes must incorporate additional protective measures. This
involves protective measures using an IT network with insulation monitoring. With this
protective measure, when the first fault occurs, the supply is not disconnected and safe
operation can continue. |
| In functional buildings, where rated operating
currents up to 250 A are possible, the MCB circuit-breakers of the 5SX2 series are
installed on a vertically mounted rail system in the STRATUM 400. Models are available
offering from 4 to 24 ways. |
| Siemens circuit-breakers can take on any
switching and protection function in AC or DC networks and they are designed to meet the
most demanding requirements and make a significant contribution to reliable protection of
the energy supply in electrical plants, buildings, power stations, water stations, ships or
drilling rigs. |
| The Siemens circuit-breaker family comprises
units designed for widely differing power ranges, e. g. current limiting
circuit-breakers up to 2500 A,100 kA or open circuit-breakers for rated currents
up to 6300 A, 100 kA at full selectivity. |
| The 3VF
circuit-breakers in compact form meet the latest stringent requirements on overload and
short-circuit protection for nominal currents of up to 2500 A. Various circuit-breaker
variants with different switching capacities optimized for special types of applications
ensure that a solution is always available that is optimally adapted to specific switching
and protection tasks as regards economy. |
| 3WS1circuit-breakers
are intended for use in enclosed areas, where excessive operating conditions do not
occur (e.g. no dust, aggressive vapors or harmful gases). The permissible ambient
temperatures and the associated rated currents for different ambient temperatures are
listed in the technical data.In case of heavy short-circuits the operators are not
endangered even when the installation door is open. |
| The 3WN6
circuit-breakers are climate-proof . They are intended for use in enclosed areas where
excessive operating conditions do not occur.Further these breakers can be further
classified as fixed mounted and withdrawable versions. The circuit breakers are supplied
with manual operating mechanism and motorized operating mechanism. |
